Geneva boys, girls golf teams advance to state

The boys and girls golf teams from Geneva School of Boerne are having a great season and on April 15 at Plum Creek in Kyle, the boys and girls won their TAPPS 4A district team events.

Geneva golfers Jace Hullet and Aniston Dennis also won top medalist honors for boys and girls respectively.

On April 22, Geneva played in the TAPPS regional tourney for the right to go to the state tournament and the boys won the region with a school record of 286.

Jace Hullet took top honors with a 65, Jack Walker Hardin tied for 2nd with a 69 and Win Crawford took 5th with a 71.

The Geneva girls advanced to state as the 3rd-place team and were led by Aniston Dennis who won the regional medalist honors with an 81.

Both Geneva teams moved on to the state tournament held last week, April 28-29, in Glenrose.
