The Geneva School of Boerne softball squad won a wild playoff opener Wednesday afternoon when the Eagles traveled to the Houston area to play Bay Area Christian.
Geneva was trailing 9-6 when the seventh inning started but batted through the lineup twice as they tallied 16 runs in the top of the frame for the 22-9 advantage.
The Eagles smacked two home runs during their rally.
