For most of my life, I’ve had the privilege of serving our great nation, protecting its borders, supporting the brave men and women who defend it, and strengthening the communities I call home.
As a leader within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, each day brought challenges, purpose and deep connection. It’s been an extraordinary journey, defined by high-stakes decisions, meaningful missions and incredible people.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a title or award, it’s building a strong and beautiful family while leading at the highest levels. Through 11 cross-country moves and countless challenges, I’ve learned to lead with empathy, communicate with purpose, and stay grounded in what matters most.
Now, as I step into this new role as chair of the Republican Party of Kendall County, I do so with deep gratitude and unwavering commitment. The past has prepared me, but my heart tells me there’s more to do. More to give. More to build.
When I moved to Kendall County in 2019, my family and I were warmly embraced by this exceptional community. That welcome was especially meaningful, as my family was split at the time due to the urgency of my new assignment.
I soon found a kindred spirit in the Kendall County Republican Women — a group whose values mirrored my own. I got involved and, before long, I was honored to serve as vice president and program chair. What an incredible experience!
As I begin this next chapter, as the Kendall County Republican Chair, the same core values — service, leadership and community — will guide me. My vision for the next year centers on three pillars: Engaging. Connecting. Growing.
• Engaging. We will energize our leaders, voters and volunteers through consistent, meaningful outreach. Everyone will have a voice as we work to strengthen unity within the party. We will be strategic, focused and rooted in the values, traditions and culture that define Kendall County.
• Connecting. True progress happens through collaboration. We’ll strengthen connections across precincts, communities, individuals and organizations — sharing ideas, aligning efforts and breaking down silos.
Together, we will build lasting partnerships that amplify our impact. I’m committed to fostering those bridges and ensuring everyone feels included, empowered, and part of our mission.
• Growing. Growth isn’t just about numbers; it’s about impact. We will grow our base, increase our presence and, most importantly, drive voter turnout here in Kendall County.
I believe that strong communities are built through teamwork. Together, we will continue to strengthen our foundation, expand our reach, and energize our mission.
Let’s move forward — together.
