Democrats living under conservative control

Editor, A recent letter to the editor by a long time Kendall County Democrat operative was informing the low information voters about redistricting in Texas to keep conservative control.

He is right. Political districts are used to keep control. However, he implied this is a bad thing not noting that it’s done all the time, instead of “it’s just politics.”

Blue states do it and red states do it.

This longtime Democrat operative, that has been expressing this as bad, has been living in this conservative county for decades. Why does he want Kendall County and Boerne to go blue?

We all live next to Bexar County and San Antonio that is controlled by Democrats with typical problems associated with governing by the left. Just like Houston and Austin.

No thank you. Obama once said elections have consequences as he reminded Republicans they were not in the driver’s seat anymore. The Democrat operatives in Kendall County need to stop being backseat drivers and continue to enjoy the Kendall County conservative control.

Missing the big lies

Editor, The Progressive Views Column in the July 20 edition is titled, “Lies and more lies ...” The Kendall County Democrat seems to have missed the three biggest lies of the last decade.

1. The Trump - Russia collusion hoax.

2. The border is secure.

3. The president is “sharp as a tack.”

He claims to advocate for a balanced federal budget. That’s a new line for Democrats. Every time the Republicans try to cut a dollar of spending, the Democrats scream, “People will die.” The Progressive Views don’t seem to be catching on in Kendall County.
