‘Women Inspire’ speakers panel set for Saturday

BOERNE — Hill Country Women in Business will bring together four speakers for its first-ever panel event, “Women Who Inspire — Through the Generations” on Saturday.

Panelists Olivia Burdick, Dr. Kristin Craft, Kendall Guisti and Kathy Rudkin will share their stories, their challenges and their success at the event, which runs 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Patrick Heath Public Library. Attendees will get to know the four panelists:

• Olivia Burdick, CEO, The Center. As The Centers’ CEO, Burdick leads with vision and compassion, guiding an organization dedicated to serving the community through counseling, resources and advocacy. She said she is passionate about building strong teams and creating sustainable impact.

• Dr. Kristin Craft, Superintendent, Boerne Independent School District. With more than 30 years in education, Craft became Boerne’s superintendent in 2024. She has been instrumental in driving student achievement, expanding career and technical education and fostering a culture of excellence across the district.

• Kendall Giusti, food safety and quality manager, Texas Star Nut & Food. Guisti oversees food safety and quality operations for one of the region’s largest food companies. She brings expertise in compliance, production standards and operational excellence, ensuring that consumer trust and product quality remain top priorities.

• Kathy Rudkin, owner, Rudkin Productions and Digital Domino Marketing. Rudkin is a seasoned entrepreneur and creative strategist who helps businesses elevate their marketing presence.

With decades of experience in media and communications, she has built a reputation for innovative storytelling and supporting local business growth.

Shan Wiley, director of communications and event for Boerne Radio and a goodwill ambassador for the HCWIB, will serve as moderator. Wiley will guide the conversation, bringing her expertise in community engagement and media to highlight the diverse experiences of the panelists.

Jennifer Balderrama, HCWIB programs chair, said the organization’s first effort at organizing a panel brought together four dynamic women, each with their own story to tell. The day will feature coffee and pastries, networking, the panel discussion, box lunch and raffle prizes.
