Lady Hounds tripped up by Tivy in volleyball

Boerne High hosted Kerrville Tivy in a district volleyball match last Friday and the Lady Antlers were able to sweep BHS at Greyhound Gym.

Tivy defeated Boerne in straight sets, 25-20, 25-12, 25-18. BHS slips to 3-8 in district and 19-12 overall.

The Lady Greyhounds hosted Veterans Memorial Tuesday and then visit Smithson Valley on Friday.

After that, the Boerne High girls host Boerne Champion on Oct. 14. The Lady Greyhounds defeated the Chargers in their first-round meeting for their first victory in the series that began last year.
