• HILL COUNTRY MILE ROD RUN: The Hill Country Mile Rod Run is Boerne’s premier classic car show, featuring 300-plus classic American cars and trucks from all over Texas. The event opens Friday with two metal bands in a free concert on Main Plaza, and continues Saturday. Oct. 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Plaza and Main Street. Music on stage, food and drink vendors open all day Saturday.
•FUMC PUMPKIN PATCH: The First United Methodist Church Boerne Texas Pumpkin Patch will be back soon at The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center, 102 City Park Road, on Fridays from 3-6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. Free admission.
