The Boerne High volleyball team took a set from playoff-bound Pieper last Friday at Greyhound Gym, but the Lady Warriors still managed to earn the four-game victory.
Pieper won the match, 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 25-21. It was the season finale for BHS as their season came to an end with a record of 19-17 overall. The Lady Hounds finished 26-5A at 3-13.
Ava Seamans led the team in kills with 12, Bella Pettet added 11 kills and Paige Stegall was also in double-digit kills with 10.
Stegall also totaled 5 blocks, while Holly Reeder and Seamans had 3 blocks. Reeder and Stegall both dropped in 3 aces, Kiley Coffland led the team in digs with 13 and Haley Wheeler chipped in with 11 digs.
Cameron Keller finished with 18 assists and Lauren Magnus had 17 assists.
Seniors are Haley Wheeler, Holly Reeder, Kynsie Jones, Mikinley Schmidt and Paige Stegall.
