Kendall County well represented at UIL state cross

ROUND ROCK – Runners from Boerne Champion, Boerne High and Comfort High ran at Friday’s state cross country meet at Old Settler’s Park.

Both Charger boys and girls squads ran, while individual runners from Comfort High and Boerne High raced as well.

While no medals were earned, both Champion squads did turn in top-10 finishes in the state in 5A.

The Champion boys team finished seventh with 197 points, while the Lady Chargers placed 10th with 238 points.

Brayden Scott represented the Greyhounds in the 5A event and came in 48th overall in the boys race, while Jackson Dear ran for Comfort in the 3A race and was 70th in Round Rock.
