Basketball, soccer starts this week

The regular season is here for girls high school basketball and three area teams will play this week, while soccer season is under way at Geneva.

The Geneva School of Boerne girls basketball team kicked off their 2025-26 season Tuesday at home against Gloria Deo Academy and then visit TMI – Episcopal Thursday, 6:15 p.m.

On the boys side, the Geneva basketball team played at Austin Veritas on Tuesday, and in soccer, the Geneva girls play at Antonian on Wednesday.

In girls basketball, Champion visits San Antonio Christian on Friday at 6:30 p.m. to open the season and the Lady Greyhounds host McCollum on Saturday, 11:30 a.m.
