Geneva volleyball wins, faced Holy Cross Tuesday

Geneva School of Boerne went on the road and swept St. Thomas Episcopal last Thursday in straight sets.

The home court advantage didn’t help St. Thomas after they hosted the match near the Houston area.

Geneva’s win put them in the second round where they faced Holy Cross Tuesday in San Antonio at the Knights’ home gym.

Holy Cross had a bye in the first round after they finished in the top two in district play.

The Eagles were 32-16 overall heading into Tuesday’s match in San Antonio.
