After a first-round win last Friday, the Comfort High volleyball team faced Holliday Monday in the second round played in De Leon.

Comfort is in Region I and not Region IV, so they have to travel far most of the time. It was a three-hour drive for Holliday and a three-and-a-half-hour drive for Comfort.

It was no holiday facing Holliday either after the Eagles defeated the Deer in four sets.

Holliday won 25-17, 11-25, 25-18, 25-21 to end Comfort’s year at 28-15.

The Deer will graduate four seniors this year and they are Jael Hernandez, Jordan Judkins, Corrine Brown and Anna Munoz.
