BOERNE — The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations in several categories for its annual Business Awards, including a new category this year, “New Business Of The Year.”
Winners will be unveiled at the chamber’s annual awards gala in January.
The nomination process is an opportunity for the public to share in recognizing outstanding businesses and individuals for their achievements and contributions to the community.
Nominations, available on the chamber’s website, are submitted anonymously and will be accepted through Dec. 5. Nominations are reviewed by members of a private committee who will select the winners in each category:
• Business of the Year, over 50 employees.
• Business of the Year, under 50 employees.
• Businessman of the Year.
• Businesswoman of the Year.
• Nonprofit of the Year.
• New Business of the Year; must have opened in 2024 or 2025.
Nominees must be chamber members in good standing and cannot have won the category within the past three years.
Tickets go on sale Dec. 1 for the Boerne Chamber Awards Gala, set for 6 p.m. Jan. 24, 2026, at The Cana Ballroom at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 202 E. Kronkosky St. in Boerne, presented by Bandera Electric Cooperative.
Last year’s winners were: Business of the Year over 50 employees, The Bevy.
Business of the Year under 50 employees, Signarama Boerne.
Businessman of the Year, Mark Finch, Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating.
Businesswoman of the Year, Ashley Pfeiffer, Kendall County Abstract Company.
Nonprofit of the Year, Transformation House.
