Boerne High broke open a tight game with a strong second half to defeat Corpus Christi Ray Friday night at Boerne ISD Stadium, 42-13.

It twas 21-13 in the third but Boerne scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to put the game away by scoring the final 21 points of the contest.

BHS has won 10 in a row and stands at 10-1 overall. The Greyhounds face Mission Pioneer (7-4) after the Diamondbacks defeated Edcouch-Elsa, 42-21.

The Greyhounds and Diamondbacks play Thursday in Laredo at the Bill Johnson Student Athletic Center.

Champion plays Pharr San Juan Alamo North Friday in Laredo, also at Johnson.

Geneva School of Boerne

The Eagles defeated Bishop Gorman Friday night at Cornerstone in San Antonio, 49-12.

Geneva (9-2) faces Tyler All Saints Episcopal (8-3) maybe at Little River Academy, but that hasn't been confirmed yet.
