Both Comfort High basketball varsity teams tipped off their 2025 seasons recently.
The Comfort Deer opened at home with a 63-33 loss to Nueces Canyon, and last Friday, the Comfort girls played Harper and fell to the Longhorns, 58-34, to start the year at 0-2.
Comfort hit the road Tuesday to play at Leakey and then play at Medina on Friday.
The Comfort boys began the year with an 81-39 loss to Cole last Saturday to kick off their year at 0-1. The Bobcats were home Tuesday to host Knippa and then play Burnet Thursday.
