Tipton in running for Justice of Peace 3 post

BOERNE — Jon “J.T.” Tipton, a Kendall County resident, veteran and community leader, announced his candidacy for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3.

“The office of Justice of the Peace is about more than rulings, it’s about fairness, accountability, and service to our community,” Tipton said. “I want to be a Justice of the Peace who is accountable, accessible, and approachable to the people of Precinct 3.”

Tipton, a U.S. Army military police veteran, is experienced in disaster relief missions including Hurricane Katrina and the 2010 Haiti earthquake. He is co-founder of Mayday Investigations, LLC in Boerne, co-host of The Texas Examiner podcast and vice chair of the Kendall County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

“After three decades under the current incumbent, it is time for a change that reflects the needs and voices of today’s Kendall County,” Tipton said.

Tipton and his wife, Lindsey, a professional educator with Boerne ISD, are raising four children. Two currently attend Boerne schools, while their two older children are BISD graduates.

He also serves as a guest teacher in the district and is an active member of The Bridge Church in Boerne. For details on his campaign, go to: www.jtforjpp3.com.
