Comfort High had seven players named to the 5-3A All-District volleyball list as voted upon by the league’s coaches.

Comfort junior Tindall Ahrens was named the 5-3A Co-MVP, while junior Emily Hill and junior Corrine Brown were both named to the first team.

Senior Jordan Judkins and junior Rubi Lozano landed on the second team, while senior Jael Hernandez and senior Anna Munoz were both selected to the honorable mention team.

The Deer placed second in District 5-3A this year after they finished with a 7-3 record. Comfort was 28-15 overall and advanced two rounds deep into the playoffs.

Comfort plays in Region I and usually has to travel west once the postseason begins. The Deer beat San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy in five sets in the opening round. They advanced to the second round where they lost to Holliday but did take a set off the Eagles and fell in four sets. Holiday went four rounds before they were eliminated.
