The Comfort High boys basketball team played in the Harper Tournament last weekend and took first place at the event with a 4-0 record.
Comfort then returned to action Tuesday by hosting Marion and were beaten by the Bulldogs, 70-34.
The Bobcats are 6-4 overall and host a tournament this weekend and opened against Thrall on Thursday.
Harper Tournament
Comfort faced four teams at the tourney and beat all four of their opponents.
The Bobcats defeated the Fredericksburg JV, 87-53 and then struck gold against Eldorado, 55-50. Comfort lassoed Lutheran, 62-50 and then handled Harper, 61-46.
Ricardo Angel, Jared Valadez and Jackson Dear were named to the all-tournament team.
Comfort girls
The Comfort girls team was on the road for its last two games and dropped both of them to stand at 1-7 overall.
Comfort was at Center Point last Friday and lost 51-30, and then was tripped up Tuesday at Johnson City, 61-8.
The Deer are off Friday and host Stockdale Tuesday.
