Drug boating: All for show
Editor, The United States Navy is the largest, most powerful navy in the world; hands down. We recently learned the U.S. Coast Guard, using a sniper, shot out the engines of a drug smuggling boat, boarded it, arrested the crew and seized a large amount of cocaine.
This is how it should be done.
Why are we using a large armada to blow up ships at sea; is it all for show, while we violate all norms of civil law?
We can do better.
