The Boerne High boys basketball team played a non-district game Saturday afternoon in Helotes against O’Connor.
The Panthers defeated the Greyhounds by the inverted score of 85-58 to drop BHS to 8-7 overall. The Greyhounds were at Smithson Valley Tuesday to continue district play.
Boerne is 1-0 in district after winning their 26-5A opener last week at home against Veterans Memorial.
Hagen Hurst and Ethan Bilyeu tallied 27 and 24 points respectively for 51 of O’Connor’s 85 points on Saturday.
