Bobcats defeat Dilley, hosts tournament

Comfort High hosted a boys basketball tournament last weekend and then continued non-district action last Tuesday against Dilley.

The Bobcats went 2-2 at the tourney and then defeated the Dilley Wolves, 78-46.

CHS is 9-6 overall and hosted Stacey on Friday. After that, the Bobcats are off until Dec. 29-30 when they play in the Randolph Tournament where they are scheduled to play Kennedy, Randolph, Lytle and Lutheran.

Comfort tourney

Comfort won its first two games at the tourney and topped Thrall, 60-45, and then hounded Hondo, 61-49.

The Bobcats dropped its next two and fell to Hargrave, 55-42, and then closed it out with a 50-40 loss to Fredericksburg.
