The Comfort High girls were entered in the Medina basketball tournament last weekend and posted a 2-1 mark and won the consolation title.
Comfort also hosted Stockdale on Tuesday and lost 43-25 and is 5-10 overall.
The Deer are off until Dec. 27 when they play in the Nueces County tourney. CHS also hosts Cole on Dec. 30 with a 12:30 p.m. tipoff.
Medina Tourney
At the tourney, Comfort beat S.A. Stacey, 56-10, and then lost to Utopia, 43-37.
That put Comfort in the consolation championship where they defeated host Medina for the consolation title, 34-28.
Comfort’s Alexa Lozano was named to the all-tournament team after she tallied 33 points, 17 steals, 13 rebounds and 9 assists in three games.
