The Geneva School of Boerne girls basketball team posted a 2-2 mark at the Hill Country Classic tournament hosted by the school last Monday and Tuesday.
Geneva is 6-14 overall and returned to district action Friday at home against Corpus Christi John Paul II. They host Corpus Christi Incarnate Word Tuesday.
At the tourney, the Lady Eagles opened the tourney with a couple of wins on the first day.
Geneva beat Brentwood Christian, 46-7, and then took care of St. Anthony, 43-31. St. Anthony played the Eagles tough but only had six players on the team and ran out of steam in the second half.
The Eagles returned the next day and suffered two losses. Savio beat Geneva 44-8 and then the Eagles faced Veritas Academy and lost to the Austin school in a close one, 44-40.
