The Boerne High girls basketball team opened up the Boerne ISD Holiday Tournament with a loss to LEE but rebounded to win the next three to finish 3-1 at the event.
BHS is 18-6 overall and was off Friday. The Lady Greyhounds continued district play at Pieper on Tuesday and then host New Braunfels Friday.
After their 54-51 loss to LEE, the Lady Greyhounds defeated Medina Valley, 42-26, to close out the first day of tourney action.
On Tuesday, BHS knocked off Victoria West, 51-22, and then closed out the event with a physical game against Katy Taylor.
The Katy school held a 21-18 lead at halftime, but Boerne pulled away in the second half and outscored them, 34-11, for the 52-32 victory.
