There was only one goal tallied in the second half of Tuesday’s soccer match between the Boerne High and Boerne Champion boys’ teams, and it ended up being the game winner for the Greyhounds.
The Chargers were at Boerne ISD Stadium to take on Boerne High in their first-round district match, and the teams went into halftime knotted up at 2-2.
The lone second-half goal came on a set piece, a corner kick, that was knocked in by the Greyhounds, and that goal ended up being the difference in the match.
