Geneva School of Boerne competed at its regional swim meet and all eight swimmers qualified for state.
The girls were third overall in the team standings and the boys were fourth. The state meet is Monday, Feb. 9, in San Antonio.
Varsity Girls
The girls 200-yard medley relay of AnnaClaire Bussey, Ruby Svendsen, Abigail Bussey and Ella Owens took third.
Abigail Bussey won the 200-yard IM, and took 2nd in the 50 freestyle, while Svendsen was 8th and Owens placed 13th in the 50 free. Also, AnnaClaire Bussey also earned bronze in the 100-yard freestyle after she was third.
In the 200 free relay, the Bussey girls, Svendsen and Owens teamed up for third.
AnnaClaire Bussey finished 5th in the 100 backstroke, while in the 100 breaststroke, Svendsen came in fifth and Owens was ninth.
Varsity Boys
The 200-yard medley relay of Shae McNew, Samuel Crews, Reid Wilson and Chase Doran finished fourth.
In the 50 free, Wilson came in second, McNew was one spot back in third and Doran finished 15th.
McNew placed second in the 100 free, Crews was third and Doran was eighth, while Wilson won the 100 breaststroke and Crews was eighth.
McNew, Crews, Doran and Wilson teamed up to win the 200-yard freestyle relay.

The Geneva boys swim team, consisting of Shae McNew, Samuel Crews, Reid Wilson and Chase Doran, made it to state.
