Geneva School of Boerne had several football players earn several postseason awards for their performances during the 2025 season.
Four of the Eagles were named TAPPS all-state after Reid Aderholt was selected as an all-state first-team wide receiver, Shae McNew was an allstate second-team running back, Koen Huebner was a second-team all-state defensive lineman and Reid Wilson was a second-team all-state linebacker.
All-District
Seven Eagles players earned first-team recognition, including one on both offense and defense.
Reid Aderholt was a first-team wide receiver and also first-team defensive secondary player.
Mikhail Boespflug was a first-team offensive lineman, Chase Doran was a first-team wide receiver and Shaw McNew was a first-team running back.
Reid Wilson was a firstteam linebacker, Koen Huebner was a first-team defensive lineman and Austin Hodo was a firstteam defensive lineman.
Offensive lineman Ian Jayroe was a second-team offensive lineman, Caleb Quitadamo was second- team quarterback and Parker Eiland was a second- team kicker, while McNew was a second-team linebacker and Doran was a second-team secondary player.
Several other Geneva players were named honorable mention. On offense, Wilson and Jax Riddle were named HM offensive line, Asher Shindler was an HM running back and Sam Horton was an HM receiver.
Defensively, Marcos Medrano was an HM defensive lineman, Jayroe was an HM linebacker and Eli Arnold was recognized as an honorable mention secondary player.
Geneva had a solid season under first-year coach Bob Rosenstiel. The Eagles finished second in district with a 4-1 record and advanced to the TAPPS semifinals before losing to eventual state champs Lubbock Christian and finishing with a 10-3 record.
