A couple more springs sports will get going this week for Boerne ISD schools.
Boerne ISD hosted a track meet on Thursday and will host another one on Thursday, Feb. 19, both at Boerne ISD Stadium.
The Chargers track and field team will be at NISD meet at Gustafson next week, and the Greyhounds will do some time trial races with Kerrville Tivy and Fredericksburg next week but won’t be at another full meet until Feb.
19 when they host at BISD Stadium.
Softball
The UIL softball season starts on Tuesday, Feb. 10, and both the Chargers and Greyhounds open with district games.
The Chargers open at Veterans Memorial on Feb. 10, and the Lady Greyhounds are at Wagner on the same day to begin 26-5A action.
Baseball
The Chargers and Greyhounds open their 2026 seasons on the following Tuesday, Feb. 17. Champion is at Veterans Memorial, and the Greyhounds are at Wagner.
