Comfort High hosted Brady in pair of district basketball games Tuesday and it turned into the final game of the season for the Deer, while the Bobcats still have two games left and then start playoffs.

Comfort needed to beat Brady to force a tie for fourth place with the Bulldogs in the final district standings, but Brady defeated the Deer with a strong second half, 45-27.
Comfort ends its season at 2-8 in district (5-17 overall), while Brady is 4-6 with Tuesday’s win.
A win by the Deer on Tuesday would have put both teams at 3-7 in district and tied them for fourth place and would have forced a play-in game for the final spot up for grabs.
Comfort was leading at halftime, 22-21, but Brady outscored them in the second half, 24-5.
Ingram, Llano and Blanco all finished at 8-2 for the top three spots and seeding will be determined by coin flips.
Varsity Boys
Comfort beat Brady on Tuesday, 82-46, and stayed in the hunt for the district title.
The Cats visited Florence on Friday and will host Blanco on Tuesday in what could be for the district title since Blanco is 8-0 and Comfort is 7-1 (22-9 overall).
