Lady Chargers close out basketball season vs. Tivy

Boerne Champion wrapped up its 2025-26 girls basketball season Tuesday on the road at Kerrville Tivy.

The Chargers were hoping to get head coach Jason Sanders win No. 300 but it’ll have to wait until next year after the Lady Antlers claimed Tuesday’s contest, 43-33.

Champion ends the year at 12-23 overall and went 4-12 in district. Wagner, Boerne High, Pieper and Kerrville Tivy will represent the district once the playoffs start.

Prior to Tuesday’s game, the Chargers honored its seniors alast week against Wagner.

The seniors are Julia Simescu, Sage Ramsey, Saoirse Ray, Jenna Koepke, Kam Edwards, Lori Barreiro and Liz Anderson.
