Six BISD football players named all-state by Texas Sports Writers

Six Boerne ISD football players were named All-State by the Texas Sports Writers Association.

The Greyhounds had five players honored by the TSWA, while the Chargers had one.

BHS quarterback Grant Sweeney was a third-team quarterback, while Zach Freasier and Will Traylor were honorable mention wide receivers, Beau Dayoc was an honorable mention tight end and Blake Burkholder was an honorable mention defensive lineman.

For the Chargers, Brogan Dempsey was selected as an honorable mention wide receiver.
