Sanders officially hired as new Chargers girls basketball coach

Jason Sanders was hired as the new Champion head girls basketball coach at Monday’s Boerne ISD school board meeting.

Sanders has previously coached at Silsbee and Lum berton and was at Lumberton since 2016 where he also coached cross country.

Sanders, who teaches math, has also served as president of the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and he replaces Marsha Hammond who left after seven seasons with the Chargers.
