The Kendall County Fair Association hosts the first of its “Summer Dance Series” beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 18. 2026 in the New Hall.
Live music by Rebel Roxie will set the stage and keep the dance floor busy until midnight. Admission is $10 per person with all ages welcome. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are only available at the door.
“The community has been asking for the return of monthly dances,” a Fair Association press release stated. “The board of directors all agreed it was time to bring this tradition back to the association and the fairgrounds, we just need the community and beyond for their support by attending.
“We are watching the calendar not to schedule the monthly dances to coincide with other community events and local dances at Anhalt Hall, Twin Sisters etc. We are excited and hopeful for a great turn out from the community and beyond,” the Fair Association release stated.
Food and drink concessions will be available; attendees are allowed to bring their own alcohol.
