• EARTH DAY SCAVENGER Hunt: Celebrate Earth Day with a fun, family-friendly Scavenger Hunt from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Explore nature at the Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Road, make discoveries, and contribute to the global City Nature Challenge.

• COMPOSTING WORKSHOP: Participants will learn the fundamentals of composting and see real-time demonstrations of how food scraps, garden waste and everyday materials can be transformed into rich, healthy soil. Hosted from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Road.

• BOWLS FOR BLESSINGS: Shop beautiful custom pottery by a local artisan from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. while supporting Blessings in a Backpack, an organization that provides weekend meals to children in need throughout the Boerne area. Hosted at 219 Palo Grande Drive in San Antonio.

• WILD GAME DINNER raises funds for local and international charities and features delicious wild game fare, door prizes, silent and live auctions, kids’ games and more. • ANNUAL CASINO NIGHT: “A Night in Monte Carlo” benefits Hill Country Crisis Council. • FAMILY NIGHT HIKE: Experience a sunset family hike from 8-9:30 p.m. at The Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Road Designed for little legs and curious minds, the cost is $30 per family; so bring parents, grandparents, and kids for an evening of outdoor learning and fun.

MAY 2

• GOAT YOGA: Stretch, breathe, and smile your way through this joyful outdoor yoga experience at Herff Farm, 33 Herff Road. From 9 to 10 a.m., get ready to relax, laugh, and enjoy a truly unique farm experience. Register at cibolo.org.
