Simpson receives DAR scholarship

Mary Elizabeth Simpson, a senior at Geneva School of Boerne, was selected as the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship and scholarship recipient for the year. She won with her essay titled “Our American Heritage and our responsibility for preserving it.” The presentation was made April 11 at St. Helena’s Episcopal Church.
