Crestmont seniors continue path toward ministry

BOERNE — Two graduating Crestmont Christian Preparatory School seniors, Daniel Sparkman and Sam Schoenfeld, have committed to universities where they will continue on a trajectory toward ministerial service.

Senior Daniel Sparkman will attend Dallas Baptist University, where he plans to pursue a degree in Biblical studies and Christian ministry. Throughout his time at Crestmont, Sparkman has demonstrated a deep passion for sharing the Gospel, reaching middle school students, the homeless community, friends, family and even those he encounters at work.

Reflecting on his calling, Sparkman said, “I want to submit myself to the Lord and walk in obedience to whatever the Lord leads me to do.”

Senior Sam Schoenfeld plans to attend Highlands College in Birmingham, Alabama, where he will pursue a Worship degree.\\ Schoenfeld has led the Crestmont worship team for several years and is also an active member of the worship team at his local church. His leadership and heart for worship have made a lasting impact on the school community.

“Jesus is my why,” Schoenfeld said. “Jesus saved my life, and my wish is that everyone can encounter God the way I have.”

Crestmont Christian is a K-12 University Model School in Boerne, dedicated to partnering with families to provide a Christ- centered, academically excellent education that equips students to serve Christ faithfully in every area of life.

Crestmont Christian Preparatory School celebrates both men for their strong Christian character and dedication to living out their faith.
