Star leans left
Editor, I am concerned about the editorial judgment and practices in this community newspaper that serves the most conservative county in all of Texas, in that non-conservative if not offensive positions are pushed on the readership.
In the Wednesday June 12 edition, for instance, what is on the front page — promotion for the Boerne Pride Walk. Yet screwworm infestation and water issues are relegated to page two.
Those are huge issues for Kendall County and Texas, not the editor’s personal opinion about gay rights.
Another example is evident in nearly all of the cartoons on the editorial page; i.e. they’re left leaning. So those examples and others beg the question — are you representing this community, or your own political beliefs?
If you want to be in the business of psychological operations, join the military or other federal government agencies. Quit pushing your agenda on us.
