Geneva School of Boerne ran in its first cross country meet of the year last weekend when the Eagles boys and girls teams competed at the St. Mary’s Hall Baron Season Opener.
At the St. Mary’s Hall meet, four Geneva runners placed in the top 10, two boys and two girls.
Peyton Eiland led the Geneva girls team after she was fifth overall, while her teammate Maggie Lutz finished 10th. In the boys race, the Eagles were led by Liam McClain who was seventh overall, while Parker Eiland came in ninth.
The Eagles race again on Sept. 5 at the Steve Goleman Bandera Invitational.
