Friday Night Football Scores

Three Kendall County football teams were in action Friday night and all three were delayed by lightening but the teams were able to finish all three games. Comfort and Brady were the last ones to finish and their game didn't end until after 11 p.m. 

Boerne High

Boerne won their first season opener since the 2022 season after they defeated Westwood Friday in Round Rock, 34-14.

The Greyhounds are 1-0 and have their home opener Friday at Boerne ISD Stadium against Laredo United, 7 p.m.

Geneva School of Boerne

The Eagles hosted Natalia on Friday for their home opener and soared past the Mustangs, 49-8.

Geneva is 2-0 after they won their opener last week on the road against Sacred Heart, 48-6.

They are home on Friday against TMI - Episcopal.

Comfort High

Comfort held off the Brady bunch Friday night after they beat the Bulldogs, 32-29.

Their game started at 7:45 p.m. and they played three minutes and then went into a couple of 30-minute delays and didn't restart until 9:05 p.m. and ended after 11 p.m.

The 1-0 Bobcats visit Crystal City on Friday.  

Boerne Champion (Thursday Night)

The Chargers rolled to a 60-7 victory over United South Thursday in Laredo. The last time Champion tallied 60 points came during the 2021 season.

Champion starts the year at 1-0 and hosts Long Creek on Thursday at BISD Stadium.
