Boerne Champion hosted McCollum on Tuesday in team tennis and won every match against the Cowboys for the final score of 19-0.
The Chargers improved to 14- 1 overall and bumped its district record to 4-0.
Champion will make the short drive to Boerne High on Tuesday for another district match. The Hounds host this year’s contest that starts at 4:30 p.m.
Not only didn’t the Chargers win every match against McCollum on Tuesday, but they only dropped five total games in those 19 matches.
The next two matches will be tough for the Chargers. After playing Boerne High on Tuesday, the Chargers host Alamo Heights on Sept. 29 to close out district play. Champion also faces S.A. Johnson on Oct. 2 in a non-district match before starting the playoffs.
