After taking last Friday off, Boerne High resumed district volleyball action Tuesday at home by hosting South San.
The Lady Bobcats kept it close early in all three sets, but the Lady Hounds just had too much firepower and swept their opponents, 25-10, 25-11, 25-17.
Boerne High is 21-4 overall and 2-0 in district. They played McCollum on Friday and host Alamo Heights on Tuesday before playing Champion next Friday.
Mallory Miles led the team with 8 kills, while Ava Seamans and Bella Pettet added 6 kills apiece.
The Lady Hounds served well and dropped in 16 aces and finished the match with an ace. Seamans led the team in that department with 4 aces, Miles and Cameron Keller recorded 3 aces each, while Molly McCormick and Kiley Coffland both served up 2 aces.
Brook Summers came up with 4 blocks, Pettet had 3 blocks and Coffland finished with a team-high 13 digs and Lauren Magnus tallied 17 assists.
NOTES: Boerne High enters the week ranked No. 17 in the latest Texas Girls Coaches Association 5A volleyball poll released on Tuesday.
