Greyhounds race at Islander Splash in Corpus Christi last weekend

Boerne High made the drive down to Corpus Christi to participate in the 2026 Islander Splash.

It’s a good race to be in because it’s where the upcoming regional cross-country meet will be held and it gives the runners a preview of the course.

Both Boerne teams ran in the Gold race and the Lady Hounds were seventh and the BHS boys finished 27th. Boerne is scheduled to run in the Schreiner meet on Friday in Kerrville.
