The Comfort High volleyball team was at Florence on Friday and picked up a district win in four sets.
Comfort beat the Buffs, 25-14, 21-25, 25-12, 26-24. The Deer are 17-16 overall and after getting swept by Blanco to open league play, CHS is 1-1 in district after beating the Buffs.
Comfort opened district play with three straight matches on the road after being in Blanco and Florence. The road trip continued after they visited Ingram Moore on Tuesday.
The Deer will finally be at home when they host Llano on Friday to close out the first round. After that, they are off on Oct. 6.
The good news for Comfort is that they will be at home for three of their four matches in the second round. Comfort will host Ingram on Oct. 9, visit Llano on Oct. 13, host Florence on Oct. 16 and then host Blanco on Oct. 20.
