The Boerne Independent School District has restructured its Superintendent’s Cabinet to match the district’s continued growth, elevating three longtime leaders into expanded roles: Dr. John O’Hare as Associate Superintendent, Ramiro Guerrero as Chief of Operations, and Yvette Reyna as Chief of Community Engagement, Strategic Partnerships, and Communications.
The restructuring reduces the number of Cabinet-level positions while expanding and realigning responsibilities to better serve students, teachers, and staff.
“Leadership structures should evolve alongside the needs of the organization,” said Boerne ISD Superintendent Kristin Craft. “This redesign allows us to maximize the expertise of our existing leadership team, create greater alignment across key areas and ensure we are using our resources efficiently and effectively.” “Most importantly, it positions Boerne ISD for continued success as our district grows,” Craft added.
With more than 25 years in public education, O’Hare, associate superintendent, will lead and support secondary campus principals in addition to athletics, fine arts, transportation and technology.
Guerrero brings more than 30 years of K-12 construction experience and over four years with Boerne ISD to his new role overseeing construction, maintenance, custodial, and energy management.
A longtime public education advocate with more than 18 years in education, Reyna brings more than two decades of experience in communications, strategic partnerships, community engagement, event planning, and fundraising to her new role. Together, Craft said, the cabinet unites focused leadership across campus support, operations, and community engagement — strengthening the district’s ability to serve students, support staff, and operate efficiently.
