The Boerne ISD Athletic Hall of Honor inducted its class of 2026 last Friday at a ceremony held at Cordillera Ranch.
Included in the class of 2026 was the 2011 Boerne Champion boys soccer team led by coach David Rogers, along with Claire Kreuz and Chuck Foster, while Jeff Dabbs received the Bill Canavan Benefactor Award.
Rogers won two state titles with Boerne ISD one, one at each high school, including the 2006 title at Boerne High and the 2011 championship with the Chargers.
Kreuz was a two-time allstate volleyball player for the Chargers and played Division I volleyball at UNC-Charlotte and Texas State.
Foster coached the 2004 Boerne High baseball team to the state title and guided four BISD teams to the regional finals.
Dabbs devoted his time to the Charger booster club and other school-related events while his two children were in school and continues to do so long after they graduated.
