Wisian completes advanced county government course

Kendall County Commissioner Andra Wisian was recently honored for her completion of a voluntary advanced course of study on county government titled Commissioners Court Advanced Curriculum (CCAC).

Wisian received a certificate of achievement from the County and Commissioners Association of Texas (CJCAT), sponsor of the advanced curriculum program, at the CJCAT annual conference held Oct. 5-8 in Waco.

CCAC offers a comprehensive course of study, including Phase I Orientation, 16-plus hours; Phase II Basics, 16 hours; and Phase III Electives, 32 hours.

The CJCAT, a statewide organization with more than 1,200 active members, promotes the interests of county government and provides the opportunity for statutorily required continuing education. CCAC goes above and beyond the required education credit hours.
