It may only be the first month of the season but the Boerne High’s girls soccer team seems to be firing on all cylinders.

BHS visited Castroville and challenged Medina Valley on Tuesday and scored 11 goals on its way to an 11-1 victory. The Lady Hounds are 6-1-1 overall and will play in the Governor’s Cup Tournament this weekend.

Boerne faced Medina Valley in its previous tourney and beat the Panthers 5-2 but the Lady Hounds scored more than twice as many goals on Tuesday and held MV to one less goal.
