Boerne High’s Tori Adams earned a medal at last weekend’s Texas Relays held at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on the UT campus.
Adams finished third in the shot put with her best throw of 45-8.25 coming on her fifth toss of the meet.
Carlie Weiser of Giddings won the event with a throw of 51-3.25 that came on her fourth toss, while Madeleine Fey of Midlothian earned silver with a throw of 46-4.75 on her fifth attempt.
