Whenever Boerne High plays Bandera or Fredericksburg – in any sport – it doesn’t seem to matter what kind of season the Bulldogs or Battlin’ Billies are having, they’ll always play their best to try and top the Greyhounds.
That was the case Tuesday when the Bandera volleyball team came to Greyhound Gym to take on Boerne in a district contest.
It was a knock-downdrag- out type of match that went five sets before the Lady Hounds prevailed by the skin of their teeth, 25-20, 22-25, 25-14, 25-27, 15-13.
