The Boerne Champion boys put their perfect record on the line Friday when the Chargers hosted Madison and remained perfect on the year.
Champion ran away from the Mavericks and won the contest 5-1. The Chargers improved to 3-0 and were scheduled to host Kennedy on Tuesday.
Champion was winning 3-1 at halftime and then tacked on two more goals in the second half.
Brogan Dempsey tallied 2 goals, while Grayson Moran, Liam Willis and Jones Ferguson all knocked in 1 goal apiece.
Willis had 2 assists, while Ferguson, Moran and Ben Matamoros recorded 1 assist each.
Tanner Perkins was in goal all 80 minutes and only gave up one goal and came up with two saves.
The Chargers have not given up more than one goal in any match so far this year.
